Dr. Patricio Rodríguez is Associate Professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (Centro de Investigación Avanzada de Educación) at Universidad de Chile. Dr. Rodríguez is a Civil Industrial Engineer whose research focuses on the application of data science and artificial intelligence to the design and evaluation of public policies in education. He has as developed data analytics systems that are currently fundamental to the educational management of various government entities in Chile, such as the Directorate of Public Education and the Undersecretariat of Regional and Administrative Development (SUBDERE).

Dr. Rodríguez will be visiting HGSE from February 17th to February 26th, 2027, during which time he will teach a 1-credit course related to data science and AI in education and public policy. More details to come!
