Isabel Segovia Ospina

Isabel Segovia Ospina is an internationally recognized expert in education, particularly in her home country of Colombia and throughout Latin America. She brings a wealth of experience in government and public service. From 2008 to 2010, she was Deputy Minister of Education of Colombia, and in 2014 she was a candidate for Vice President of the Republic of Colombia. In 2023 she was appointed Secretary of Education of  Bogotá, a position she left in 2026. She has also served as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Andes since 2015. 

Isabel will be at HGSE from April 12 to April 21, 2027, at which time she will teach a 1-credit course. More details to come!
