## The most frequently asked questions about the Chen Yidan Visiting Global Fellows program.

**Q: Is this an actual class?**
A: Most of our fellows teach a 1-credit course. For some of our fellows, we opt for a non-credit workshop instead. These workshops revolve around the practical applications of skills and concepts.

**Q: Do I have to take all of the classes presented by the fellows?**
A: No, each of the classes are stand-alone and you may take only one class or several of them. Each class counts for one credit.

**Q: What is the time commitment?**
A: These one credit courses will meet for 9 hours in class. There will be pre-readings, as well as in-class exercises and short papers.

**Q: I have a conflicting class, can I miss one class session?**
A: No, because these classes only meet for 9 hours, your attendance is required at all class sessions. However, we are doing our best to plan these class sessions around the majority of regularly scheduled classes.

**Q: How do I sign up for these classes?**
A: You can sign up during fall and spring enrollment in [my.harvard](https://portal.my.harvard.edu/).
